Civic
Plaza Apartments is a mixed-use project covering
approximately 3 acres in downtown Boise. The project
is a component of the larger, master planned Corridor
project. Civic Plaza Apartments provides residential
multi-family housing in downtown, Boise.
In addition to the residential component,
there there is on-site parking for the patrons
of this project. Civic Partners established a
partnering relationship with the local redevelopment
agency for the financing and long-term management
of the parking facilities. The master plan allows
for the parking facilities to be integrated into
the project and masked from view, so as to blend
in with the other retail and residential uses.
Plazas and walkways link this project to the other
components of The Corridor project and create
a pedestrian-friendly experience among the uses.
The project design is reminiscent of the architectural
style that characterizes historical downtown business
districts.
